GLYCIPHAGE 850 TABLET relates to anti-diabetic medicines that are called biguanides, used in the treatment of diabetes. It helps in lowering the increased blood glucose level in type 2 diabetes patients. Type 2 diabetes is a chronic or life-long disorder that affects the way in which our body processes glucose. People with type 2 diabetes either don’t produce enough insulin or the insulin produced is not able to perform its function in the body system (e.g-insulin resistance). Middle-aged or older persons are most likely to suffer from type 2 diabetes, so it is also known as adult onset diabetes.
