Drug-Drug Interaction: GLYCIMET-SR 1000MG interacts with an antidepressant (e.g-bupropion) medicine that is used to treat glaucoma, antibiotics (e.g-cephalexin, ciprofloxacin), anti-acidity drugs (e.g-cimetidine), heart condition drugs (e.g-digoxin), anti-HIV drugs (e.g-dolutegravir), ethanol, saliva reducing drugs (e.g-glycopyrrolate), iodinated X-ray contrast agents, anti-epileptic drugs (e.g-topiramate, lamotrigine) etc.
Drug-Food Interaction: Intake of excessive alcoholic beverages can increase the chance of a life threatening situation known as Lactic Acidosis. So, just avoid intake of alcoholic beverages with GLYCIMET-SR 1000MG.
Drug-Disease Interaction: People affected with some heart-diseases (e.g-like congestive heart failure and myocardial infarction), Vitamin B-12 deficiency, and alcoholism should avoid intake of GLYCIMET-SR 1000MG.

How to use:
GLYCIMET-SR 1000MG should not be used unless suggested by a doctor. Take GLYCIMET-SR 1000MG with food to help reduce the stomach or bowel side effects or as suggested by your doctor. Your doctor will suggest to you how often you take your tablets on the basis of your medical condition or stage. Take An GLYCIMET-SR 1000MG with a glass of water.
